Hoodsbee - A New Favorite!

Had To stop him as he was going out the door!
My Little Man has a new favorite hoodie that he refuses to take off. He says it is so soft that he doesn't want to take it off. He wasn't feeling good last night and slept with it. It is a Hoodsbee hoodie that turns into a new friend for your child. It folds up easily into a stuffed animal. It easily folds up , even the child can do it. I love it. Keeps him warm and is something that he can have when not using as a hoodie. It is very well made and cute. Everytime we go out we get comments about it and everyone loves it. This would make an awesome gift for the upcoming holidays. Any child would love one of the characters that they have in their online store. This would make any child happy. Plus it is an unique gift.

A Frugal Way To Redecorate!

Are you looking for a low-cost way to redecorate? I think I might have found a way. A discount store over by us has white wall paint in 5 gallon buckets for $10.00. Which is frugal right there. But. what if you don't want white? Use Kool Aid to make your own awesome and unique colors! Just take as much of the white paint that you need and add the packet of the color of kool-aid that you want to use. Add as much as you need. Use more than one packet for a much stronger color. This is a fun way for kids to re-do their rooms or to paint furniture. Easy and Frugal.

Ebola Pandemic Survival Guide: The Quick-and-Dirty Guide to Prepare and Survive

Ebola Pandemic Survival Guide: The Quick-and-Dirty Guide to Prepare and Survive was a free book for the kindle when this post was written. A much needed book.

Ebola Pandemic Survival Guide delivers you the bare-bones tips, tactics, and strategies you need to protect yourself from a sudden pandemic.

Understand this is not a long-winded encyclopedia. If you’re looking for a 300-page vacation read, go elsewhere. This is hard-hitting, to-the-point, foundational information you need to protect yourself.

We assembled this guide to deliver you the most up-to-date information available for your safety, condensed into a 10-minute read. Here’s a sample of what you’ll discover:

•Ebola is almost impossible to differentiate between a regular flu at first...except for one key symptom: Memorize this and you’ll practically have X-ray vision, and be able to tell who around you merely has the sniffles...or something, much, much worse...

•The Number 1 myth about how Ebola victims look when they first begin showing symptoms (if you think you’re staying safe because you’re keeping an eye out from this, then you could end up surrounded by infected people without even knowing it)

•How Ebola victims don’t actually die from the bleeding, and what kills them instead

•The top 4 vulnerable points on your body for an Ebola attack and infection

•4 herbs with unique anti-viral properties: These could make the difference between a robust immune system and becoming Ebola’s next helpless victim

•4 vitamins you might want to stock up on, before they’re mobbed off shelves and supplies disappear

•And much, much more…

Time is running out – scroll up and click the button to begin reading. If you have Kindle, you can access this guide for free, so you have nothing to lose. Because of what’s at stake, you must arm yourself with the information which could save your life right now.

Just a few minutes from now, you could be wandering around the internet, worrying how to protect yourself from Ebola…or you could be discovering exactly what you need to know, ensuring your safety, security, and peace of mind.

The Modern Prepper: Survival Tips and Techniques To Survive In Today's World

The Modern Prepper: Survival Tips and Techniques To Survive In Today's World was a free book for your kindle when this post was written.

Understanding how to prepare for and survive a disaster scenario can mean the difference between life and death for you and your family. Unfortunately, many families only have one member who is well versed in survival techniques. In most cases, this role is filled by the male of the household. Such a trend can be dangerous as dependency grows on one particular family member in the event of an emergency or natural disaster. This can be avoided by spreading the knowledge of prepping to those within your family so that they too can be empowered to survive. Canning and food preservation as well as urban survival play a crucial role in the basic techniques of survival prepping. Understanding these concepts and educating others is a necessary step in ensuring the safety of yourself and those around you. This book gives you a prepper's edge in times of uncertainty to help you teach every member of your family how to prepare and survive disaster.

What To Do For Entertainment After SHTF?

Today started out as such an awesome day, perfect weather, etc. Planned on spending most of day at park. Well, son went out to go to Church and found that his back tire on his car was flat! So, he had to drive our car. He has been gone all day! We have been sitting here all this long long day. This has been just one day, what do we do for entertainment after SHTF? At least today , I have had tv and games, etc. Phone to call and bother people I know. Trying to keep mind off the fact that The Walking Dead season 5 starts tonight and I can't watch it. After SHTF we will most likely have no power, so stock up on puzzles, books, and board games. Maybe stock up on toys and such for the kiddos. You could start some crafts. I am starting to save t-shirts so that I can strip them up to make a braided rug. I want a big one! That will take most of the winter and no power to make , except my own! My older son writes and my youngest one loves to paint. So that is a good thing to have on hand. Maybe learn a musical instrument. My daughter was just given a guitar. That will be fun for her to learn. There are a lot of things that can be done after SHTF to keep you entertained. And to keep your mind off of the bad things going on.

Sometimes Things Actually Do Work!!

We had a really windy storm go thru last week and it knocked my umbrella style  clothesline over! I wasn't able to get it back up. So I brought it in and just laid it in the kitchen to wait until hubby got home. But, my mind is always thinking and I got to thinking I could put it up in the back bedroom that I had just cleaned out. I put a chair in there and tied this to it and set it up in the middle of the room. I Put a couple of heavy boxes on the chair to hold it there. It set there for a few days and yesterday I did a load of towels , took them in there and hung them up, and turned on  a small fan. Just went in there and they are DRY!! It worked great!! Another good thing is the heat vent is right under this so this winter when the heat is on it will dry even quicker. I love it. Last winter our power bill was really high because of having to use the dryer every time I did laundry. Now I can save some money.
