Food Storage Recipes - Homemade Corn Dogs

Corn Dogs
🌭
NEED:

🌽 1 cup yellow Corn Meal
🍞 1 cup all-purpose flour
🍬 ¼ cup white sugar
🥄 4 teaspoons baking powder
🧂 ¼ teaspoon salt
🌶️ ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
🥛 1 cup milk
🥚 1 egg
🍯 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
🌭 2 (16 ounce) packages beef frankfurters
🎋 16 wooden skewers

Combine Corn Meal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl; stir in milk and egg to make a batter. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F.

Meanwhile, pat frankfurters dry and insert a skewer into each one. Roll frankfurters in batter until well coated. Fry 2 or 3 corn dogs at a time in preheated oil until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Pro Tips:
Ensure that you let the oil get to the right temperature (375°F) for perfectly crispy corn dogs.
Patting the frankfurters dry before coating them helps the batter adhere better.
Use wooden skewers for easy handling and serving.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces for a delicious twist!

Food Storage Recipe - Simple Chicken Recipe

This is a simple recipe. I always buy the family packs of chicken breast , break them down into smaller servings, and freeze. It is just my son and I so I can get 4 meals out of a family pack.

Take your boneless chicken breast and dip it in the ranch dressing. After that coat them with bread crumbs. I use Planko that I get from The dollar Tree.

Fry them in a pan with some vegetable oil

Cook them until they are not pink in the middle. Serve with anything really. Sometimes we have a huge meal and other times I just serve with a salad.

You can also do this with Ceaser dressing to dip the chicken in. Experiment with what you have on hand.

Food Storage Recipe - Sausage & Egg Breakfast Pizza

Sausage & Egg Breakfast Pizza

Another great recipe that is easy to make.

NEED

1 package of brown & serve sausage links, cut into bite size pieces. I get mine when they are on sale 10 for $10 and Kroger!

6 beaten eggs

4  Bread Pita Shells. I get them when grocery store or Walmart has them in the bakery marked down area. Freeze very well.

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cook up the sausage that you cut up. Set it aside after it is done.

Pour the beaten egg into the pan and kind of scramble it a bit. But, not too much. Cook them through.

Place the Pita Shells on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle them with the shredded cheese. Top each one with the egg and sausage. Sprinkle with more of the shredded cheese.

Bake until the cheese is melted.

Garlic In Your Front Yard?

Do you see these growing in your yard?? I always called them yard or wild onions. But it’s actually wild garlic or field garlic.

The entire plant is edible from the leaves to the bulb. You can use the greens just like you would use fresh chives. Just snip them off with some kitchen scissors. Or do a little more work and use the bulb just like you would use garlic cloves.

It is high in Vitamins A and C. It is also quite rich in potassium, calcium, manganese, and selenium.

It is so awesome that something like this grows all over my yard and was being treated like a weed. Will use from now on.
