Using bubble wrap for insulation in a doghouse is a low cost way to keep your dog warm in the winter. Although I would rather people take their dogs in when it is super cold , sometimes the dogs have to be out for a time. This way they have a warm place to go to. Just line the interior walls and roof with bubble wrap. Make sure it is on very well so the dog can't chew on it or tear it up. If you have it you could possible get door mats and put over the bubble wrap on the inside walls so it is even warmer.
Another thing that my uncle used to do for his dogs - was he would take a rubber mat , like you have at front door , and would cut pieces of it that would fit right on door of doghouse and then hang it from the top of door on the inside. Like a doggie door you might have on your house. That way no cold air would get in onto his hunting dogs. They can open it easily.

DIY Prepper
DIY Prepper: How To Secure Your Home, Protect Your Family, And Survive Any Disaster was a free kindle book when this post was written.
Doomsday preppers are often seen as extremists, fanatical people who have completely lost their grasp on reality. Painted as mentally unstable doom and gloom mongers, many people see preppers as out of touch lunatics and write them off as crazy. Before you decide that preppers are an unhinged bunch of overzealous, undereducated freaks, there are a few things you should know. Once you understand just how vulnerable the modern economy is to something as seemingly simple as transportation disruption, you may think twice about prepping and decide everyone needs to prep for a worst case scenario the government would be powerless to resolve quickly enough to keep you and your family safe.
This book will cover:
Why You Should Always Prepare
DIY Weapons When Your Ammo Runs Out
What to do when the ammo runs out
DIY Home Security
DIY Fire Starting
DIY Food Supply
DIY Water Storage And Filtration
DIY Bug Out Bag
DIY Ways to Start An Emergency Fire

Getting Car Ready For Winter
It has taken me longer than I wanted it to take, getting my car ready for winter. I was without heat and yesterday I got it in and they found out that it was simple - the switches were broke. Put in new switches and now I have heat. It is an older Focus which for some reason has some silly things that happen to it. Like the radio not working and then working, the lighter now working, the switches breaking for heat/ac, driver's side door breaking, etc. Any crazy thing you can think of it has happened in this car!
Ebola Holocaust (Free Kindle Thriller)
Ebola Holocaust was a free kindle book when this post was written.
The natural Ebola virus that turns internal organs into a liquified mush is terrifying enough. Genetically engineered into an unseen and highly contagious biological weapon it becomes a horrific nightmare. This dark novel, partly based on fact, starts in July 1944 when a brilliant scientist makes a solemn undertaking to Hitler to complete the extermination of Jews through revolutionary germ warfare. His first step is to dispatch by U-boat a handful of Jewish concentration camp prisoners accompanied by their SS guards to a remote uninhabited island off the north coast of Scotland. From there the chilling mission progresses to secret laboratories deep within the Soviet Union, to the steamy jungles of the Congo, to a luxury resort island in the Maldives and finally to the current Islamic Republic of Iran. With time running out, Mossad agent David Rosen is tasked with preventing an unstoppable biological weapon being unleashed on mankind.
