DIY Reusable Sponges // Unsponges - Zero Waste Kitchen Scrubbers Tutorial ⋆ Hello Sewing

I just had to share this. I buy way too many Kitchen Cleaning Sponges for washing dishes. I am going to try and make a few of these.  Be a great way to save some money.

Emergency Bathroom ...

Not an easy way to talk about this , but everyone has to "go" sometime. If there is an emergency situation, like no power or no way to have running water, then you have to have an easy way to be able to "go". I keep a bucket with Emergency Zone Brand Honey Bucket Emergency Toilet Seat in my garage. Have toilet paper and some wipes. Disinfectant wipes are a great way to clean up hands and the seat. Save any bag you get from the grocery store etc to use inside the bucket for easier cleanup. Kitty litter will help also.

You Have To Have Clean Water!

Wild Survival | water

Having many ways to have clean water is a MUST!

Have a water filter system and other ways to use in an emergency.

I Made my own system from watching a Youtube video. Just used 2 buckets and a  Berkey Water System Replacement Filters. Not too hard. I bought some silver spray paint thinking that I would paint them to make them kind of look better, but I like the buckets as they are - they have measurements down the sides.

DIY Solar Air Heating Collectors: Pop Can vs Screen Absorbers

Something to put in my notebook to make. I love DIY and this could really be useful.

I used to know a woman that was totally off-grid and had been for years. She had one of these sitting on the sun facing side of her house and a dryer vent pipe set up that went into her front window and the heat would just flow in. It was awesome. Her house was bigger then mine is now , so I bet it would really warm mine up...
