Great post , this is so true.
I have always been an outdoors person and loved to go camping and hike in the woods. I have done many of these when I started getting into prepping. I was having trouble starting fires and making shelters. I did not know what gear I needed and didn't need nor did I have much of the necessary skills. I am trying to help others out by showing them how to skip this step.
