We make these to take with us hiking and kayaking. They are really good.

NEED:

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

2 cup oats

1 1/2 cup flour

1 cup raisins

1 cup peanuts

1 cup coconut

1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 11"x17" pan.

Mix together the brown sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Spread into the pan and press down until even.

Bake until the center is set, but not firm. about 16- 22 minutes.

Remove from oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes.

Drizzle them with a honey glaze. Honey Glaze - Place 1/4 cup of honey and 2 tablespoon butter in a sauce pan and heat , stirring until well blended.

Cut into squares and store covered for a couple of weeks. You can freeze them, too. For up to 6 months.
