Convert An Electric Sewing Machine To Non-Electric

I often wonder what I would do if there was no power and I could not sew! I love to sew! So I did some searching and I found some really great post online about how to convert your sewing machine into a treadle. I think this is a really cool idea. If the crap did hit the fan this would be a good service to be able to offer others also, be able to sew things that people would need. Like diapers, clothes, blankets, etc. Trade that service for something that you need.

I found some great links and info on How To Convert An Electric Sewing Machine To Non-Electric With A Treadle (Foot Pedal) or Hand Crank and some other great info by searching on Google. Might be something that someone can do if their electric one is broken. I wish that I had found this info before I threw my broken one away. :(
